8 Rivers Run Through It

Birthplace of Rivers - More than just a name...

The Birthplace of Rivers truly is a haven for outdoor recreationists and families wanting to get closer to Mother Nature. Activities include camping alongside the Greenbrier River at Watoga State Park, fishing for Smallmouth Bass in the Williams River, kayaking the Cranberry River from the campground to the river’s mouth. Geocaching area lakes such as Watoga, Seneca, and Buffalo, biking the Greenbrier River Trail or West Fork Trail, backpacking the Cranberry Wilderness area, touring the Cranberry Glades, or just enjoying a striking sunset over Shavers Fork. Our season long geocache challenge kicks off May 1, 2016. Click this link for details.
