Mother Nature put her finest paint job on the State Fish of West Virginia! Meet the park naturalist at the Cass Visitors Center to learn about WV State Fish. We will head to the Community Center to learn about brook trout evolutionary history, ecology, and some things you should know when you’re fishing for them that can help conserve them for future generations. Coloring sheets and tie-dye (buy a shirt at the store or bring your own) materials will be available for kids.
The park naturalist is staffed seasonally to provide a variety of interpretive, educational, and recreational programs on the Park’s natural and cultural history.
