Forest Farming Planting Workshop

Learn the basics of root division and seeding in the fall to propagate plants such as goldenseal, ginseng, ramps, and black cohosh.

Increase the value of forested land while rejuvenating the woodland ecosystem by forest farming! Led by horticulturist Will Lewis,
West Virginia Forest Farming Coordinator.

We will have limited plant material available if you would like to take some to start or enhance your forest farm.

This is a family-friendly event.
