National Trails Day Hike

A solo hiker wearing a red plaid shirt and orange pants walks along a narrow dirt trail through a dense, sunlit forest in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, following a yellow trail blaze.

Join the Cass Naturalist to celebrate National Trails day with a hike of the Rich Patch Loop Trail at Seneca State Forest. We will meet at 10 am at the State Forest Headquarters off Rt 28 near Dunmore. Its a 3.2 mile, moderate hike with a challenging climb, unique habitats, wildlife, wildflowers, and a rewarding overlook view of Frost, WV. Guests should bring water and allow 2-4 hours for the group hike.

Please email the Naturalist at Joshua.R.Daniel@wv.gov if you plan to attend or have any questions.
