When you’ve explored our profuse past, you can look to the galaxy for secrets to the future! Green Bank Observatory is home to the world’s largest steerable telescope and the National Radio Quiet Zone, 13,000 square miles of land protected from cell service or WiFi interference to ensure the scientists working inside the Green Bank Observatory can listen to the whispers and wanes of the universe.
