Greenbrier River Trail State Park
As you take on the 78 mile Greenbrier River Trail State Park, enjoy plenty of camping shelters and spaces to pitch a tent for that overnight trip. Restrooms and water at each campsite.
Beginning January 25th, 2026, for the next two years, the Greenbrier River Trail will be undergoing a significant bridge redecking project. As a result of this project, some sections of the trail will be inaccessible to users. Trail Closure Update: Effective Monday, August 3, the Section of the Trail between Clover Lick (MM71.07) and Cass will close for the Bridge re-decking project. All other sections south of Clover Lick are open.
Prohibited Activities:
This closure is total and absolute. This is a necessary closure for the bridge re-decking.
The following activities are completely BANNED within the closed zone:
Foot traffic (hiking, running, walking)
Bicycling (all types)
Equestrian use (horseback riding)
Safety First:
Entering this section puts personal safety and the safety of work crews at risk. Please respect all barriers and plan routes to bypass this area entirely.
