The annual Autumn Harvest Festival and WV RoadKill Cook-Off has been a staple festival for 30+ years, welcoming thousands of visitors from all over the Mid-Atlantic. The Autumn Harvest Festival showcases local and regional artisans, food vendors and more, while the WV RoadKill Cook-Off pits cooks against one another in the ultimate wild game cuisine competition. Attendees can pay $5 for a wristband to sample the different wild game dishes and vote for their favorite, while official judges pick their top three dishes. Enjoy live mountain music all day, participate in the Possum Trot 5K and more!
Friday night, enjoy the Rockin’ Square Dance at the Pocahontas County Opera House and Saturday, be sure to come hungry to sample all the vittles!
