Storied Lives-Songwriting Series for Seniors & Others

Everyone has a Story.  Every Story can be a Song.

Supported by a Creative Aging and Lifelong Learning Grant and Donors, this 4-workshop series plus recording session and concert costs only $30 to participate.

Work with writing teachers and musicians–no prior writing or music experience needed (but we welcome those who have it!)

Preference is given to registrants age 65+, but others can attend as space allows.

The first session begins at the Yew Mountain Center on October 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Additional sessions will occur simultaneously in Greenbrier County at the Clingman Center and in Pocahontas County at Dirtbean Café. The final performance will be held at 6:00 PM on December 8 at the Yew Mountain Center.
