Wildflowers & Ramps Festival
Celebrate Spring with guided walks, art, and locally sourced seasonal food.
The WV Ramp 5k and fun run starts at 10 am.
Run or walk!
This rugged course will traverse forest, fields, wildflowers, and ramps!
One-mile kids’ fun run challenge.
Paula Bradley will lead a 3-4 hour harvest basket-making workshop.
Native plant sale and two guided wildflower walks exploring different scenic paths will be presented by Bella Walker, Appalachian Headwater’s Native Plant Program Manager.
Will Lewis, WV Forest Farming Coordinator, will be hosting a ramp transplanting workshop.
Other activities include live music, a ramp pizza lunch, and kids’ activities.
Mountain Medicine Trail goods will be available for purchase during the event.
This is a family-friendly event.
