Participants will practice a 55-60 minute Hatha Yoga session with instructor Jacque Minarik. In this series, we will unwind, stretch, and relax. Hatha yoga is practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching. Each week we will begin by setting an intention for our practice. We will combine yoga poses and stretches that connect your breath to your movements in a gentle way to help alleviate tension and stress in the physical body and mind.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing as well as shoes that can be easily removed. Please bring a yoga mat and blocks if you have them. Bring a towel that can be rolled up and used as prop support.
