Juanita Fireball & the Continental Drifters – Homegrown Music Series at Rivertown

Juanita Fireball and the Continental Drifters play the Appalachian string band tunes that they learned from old-timers in West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina. They have played for many square dances including those in Dunmore, Cass, and Marlinton (Pocahontas County, WV) as well as some in Highland County, Va. and at the Vandalia Gathering in Charleston, WV.  The high energy of their hard-driving music will have you dancing, for sure.  The band consists of Mike Burns and Jay Lockman on twin fiddles, Mary Sue Burns on clawhammer banjo, Wayne Walton on the doghouse bass, and John Sparks on the guitar.
