The Pocahontas County CVB is dedicated to providing support to our tourism partners through a multitude of different ways.

Make It Shine: Pocahontas County CVB Road Clean Up Campaign

The Pocahontas County CVB in partnership with the WV Department of Environmental & Protection, aims to foster a litter free community while supporting our local non-profits and youth organizations.

For a full month from April 22 to May 22, local non-profits, businesses and youth groups participate in cleaning our highways for a $100 donation per mile cleaned. In 2024, 150+ miles of county highways and routes were cleaned, granting our local non-profits and youth groups with over $15,000 in donations.

Pocahontas County Grant Opportunities & Mountain Culture Hospitality Training

In order to assist and enhance tourism within the county, the CVB offers financial grants to local groups and organizations for promoting events held in Pocahontas County.  The attached PDFs include all the required information and forms for you to request event grant funding.
