If you spent any time on the Greenbrier River Trail in Cass over the last several years, you probably ran in to former Superintendent Marshall Markley out with his dogs or his family. Whether it was a marathon or for recreation, running was a huge part of his life.
In 2017, Marshall founded the annual 5K Stump Run and, after his recent sudden and untimely passing, we thought it only appropriate to re-name the race in his honor to celebrate his passion for running, for the park and for the incredible mark he left on it.
Hope to see you all June 8th!
